Jessica Lyman, a partner based in the firm’s downtown Los Angeles office, focuses her practice on real estate and business transactions. Jessica represents a wide range of clients, including lenders, investors, owners, developers and property managers, in connection with office, industrial, retail and mixed-use projects. With extensive experience handling the legal aspects of commercial real estate transactions and related business concerns, Jessica’s scope of work includes portfolio and securitized financing, acquisitions and dispositions of individual properties and large portfolios, leasing and asset management, and land use and development.

Before joining Safarian Choi & Bolstad, Jessica was senior counsel in the real estate department at Seyfarth Shaw LLP, working for institutional investors, REITS, pension funds, banks and developers. Prior to that, Jessica worked with the partners of Safarian Choi & Bolstad at Chambers-ranked Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis LLP and Am Law 100 firm Mayer, Brown, Rowe and Maw LLP.

Jessica earned her J.D. from the UCLA School of Law in 2000 after receiving a B.A. in Mass Communications from UC Berkeley in 1996. Jessica completed Mediating the Litigated Case at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, Pepperdine University School of Law, in 2009.

Jessica is a member of the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles (WLALA).
